Caruline

Caruline is a Brazilian woman living in Gràcia, Barcelona. Five months pregnant with her second child, she shares her nights with insomnia and her mornings with espresso and sunlit walks. Each day, she brings her four-year-old son Mattia, a speaker of four languages, to nursery before heading to work. A florist at the Hotel Arts, Caruline is a visionary in minimal floral architecture, shaping ephemeral beauty with precision and grace.

These photographs were taken at a turning point in Caruline’s life. A time marked by sleepless nights and the presence of new life growing inside her. With one child already in the world and a daughter on the way, this series captures a woman in motion between roles, in the rhythms of Barcelona life.
